I know that 10 miles is not a lot of miles to most of you and three months ago it didn't mean too much to me either. Today it means everything! I have not seen double digits since January 29, 2012 so I am over joyed. I am still easing my way back into things and I am still doing most of my runs on the treadmill at a very easy pace. This is progress for me and I can't wait for things to get even better!
I am going to rest these legs for a couple of days and see what the weekend has in store for me! Have a great weekend!
Welcome back to double digits!!! You did great!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Sandy!!! I'm still in awe of the fact that you can bang out such high mileage on the dreadmill!! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteBelieve me it's not fun but my choices are limited. Hopefully I will stepping off of it soon and getting back to normal!
DeleteMy gosh, congrats on your double digits!! Rest those legs up :)
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for running 10 miles on the boring treadmill!! Yay for double digits!
ReplyDelete10 miles IS a lot
ReplyDeleteand on the machine...wow....
I wont be at OC half..I took myself out of the contest last night...I am still sick and I should not run a half. I will do my 10k as planned
hope all goes well for you Sunday
Coincidentally, I did 10 miles today too. 10 miles is no walk in the park. Glad you're back in the double digits.
ReplyDeleteThat's so great that you have really turned the corner. And a good pace, too, by my rough look at it. :^)
