Are you still having pain? Where? I am so sorry. I understand that feeling all too well. I am sending pain free run vibes your way. I had some ITB pain today myself and it made me mad. My left leg hates me. First, my hamstring in March and now my ITB. I may have to send it to boot camp.
I have been having some pains in my right shin which is the opposite leg this time! I am not sure what caused the pain but is finally starting to go away. I can still feel it a little bit when I run under a 9:00 pace so I have been taking it easy. I am hoping to run a marathon in February but I am behind on my training!
that's a great goal, Sandy....and I hope you can acheive it. You know the mileage will come again, so consider Sept. and Oct. to be nice breaks! :>)
ReplyDeleteThank You Bill! I am tired on being on break but it all of the non-running energy has built up and I am ready to move on to bigger things!
DeleteI've been thinkin the same thing: get my rear in gear. You have an excuse :-) Hoping for a good month of mileage for you!!
ReplyDeleteIt has not been a very enjoyable break but sometimes a break is good! Thank you for the well wishes for November.
DeleteNovember is off to a great start for you!
ReplyDeleteYes it is and I even started it off by guessing Allan's half marathon time so lots of good things are happening!
DeleteGlad you are having a great November so far, I hope it continues that way!
ReplyDeleteThank you Christy! I am keeping my fingers crossed. I need something good to happen for me before the year ends!
